The Condo Option
If a villa isn’t right for you due to the distance from the attractions and restaurants, a Condo is probably perfect. A Condo (Condominium) is a building that contains multiple apartments. The British would call them flats. Orlando condos don’t have a lot of advantages over Orlando villas but they have a lot of advantages over Orlando hotels.
The obvious advantages over hotels are separate bedrooms, living area, multiple bathrooms and small kitchen. The rest of the make up of a Condo is pretty much like a hotel. There will be a communal swimming pool along with communal games rooms etc.
Condos tend to cost more than a hotel and a villa due to their locations. If you are on a budget you should be able to find an older Condo that comes in at the right price. As with hotels, there are lots of Orlando Condos to choose from and most are around the Disney area.
A holiday within a holiday
The great thing with Orlando Condos is you can still have a lovely relaxing time if you are having a day off the theme parks. All condo resorts have swimming pools and other kid friendly activities but some have even more. We have stayed at condo resorts that had water parks and even an adventure golf course.
Do your research and you should find the perfect condo that ticks all of your boxes.
Which Condo Resort?
As with hotels, there are a lot of Condo Resorts so too many to mention here. I have compiled a list of popular condo resorts and they are arranged in proximity to Disney World.
